Site Lead, MSD Dunboyne, Co. Meath

Martha is Site Lead of MSD Dunboyne, and a member of MSD Global Biologics Operations and Ireland’s Country leadership teams.

Martha started her career as a protein and peptide biochemist. She has been at MSD since 2012 and has held a variety of roles in Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality within Vaccines and Biologics at multiple MSD facilities. Martha is an active member of multiple Employee Resource Groups within MSD.

IT Country Lead, MSD Ireland

Malcolm is AVP of Digital Manufacturing Operations with over 25 years of IT experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

A member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team and a senior global leader in the business, Malcolm has worked in a number of positions in MSD since he joined the company in 2009. As Associate Vice President, and leader of MSD’s Digital Manufacturing Operations, he has global responsibility for all IT and Automation activities across the full scope of our human health manufacturing network: Biologics, Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines.

Site Lead, MSD Dundalk, Co. Louth

Liam is Site Lead at MSD Dundalk, a new Vaccine Drug Substance and Drug Product Facility which will enable the launch of MSD’s vaccines.

Since joining MSD Ireland in 1994 Liam has held a number of positions in research, science and technology, production support, manufacturing operations, and strategy across MSD’s Irish and global operations, including relocations to Singapore and the US. Liam holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the University of Manchester.

Site Lead, MSD Biotech, Dublin

Kacey is Site Lead at MSD Biotech and was appointed to this role in October 2023.

A member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team, Kacey has worked with MSD since 2018 in a number of positions across the USA. An MIT trained engineer and business leader Kacey has over 20 years experience delivering in complex, challenging global environments.

Site Lead, MSD Carlow 

Eva is AVP and Site Lead at MSD Carlow, and a member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team.

With 20 years’ experience in the biopharma industry, Eva has held a wide range of roles in Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Analytical Development and Commercialisation all across the global MSD network.

Managing Director, MSD Ireland (Human Health)

Samantha Humphreys is the Managing Director of MSD’s Human Health Business in Ireland, and the head of the Country Leadership Team.

Samantha has been with MSD for 16 years and during that time has gained extensive experience across a variety of divisions and geographies.

Site Lead, MSD Brinny, Co. Cork

As Site Lead for MSD Brinny, Donal leads a dedicated team in producing innovative biotech solutions that impact patients worldwide. 

A member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team, Donal has worked with MSD for over 20 years in a variety of positions across engineering, operations, and quality management. 

HR Director, MSD Ireland

Nalan is serving as the Executive Director and HR Lead at MSD Ireland, a role which she assumed this summer. As the leader of the HR function, she provides comprehensive support across all Irish sites and is an integral member of the MSD Ireland Leadership Team.

With nearly two decades of HR expertise, Nalan has held diverse HR assignments, ranging from HR Business Partner roles to engagements in Talent, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, as well as regional and global HR projects. Her tenure with MSD dates back to 2018.

Site Lead, MSD Ballydine, Co. Tipperary

Matt is AVP, Site Lead at MSD Ballydine and was appointed to this role this year. 

A member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team, Matt has worked with MSD for over 20 years in a number of positions across the sites in Ireland, including Technical and Manufacturing Operations, Commercialisation, and most recently as Site Lead for MSD Brinny in Co. Cork.   

Managing Director,  MSD Ireland (Animal Health)

Fergal has been General Manager of MSD Animal Health in Ireland since 2017.

Fergal started his career as a veterinary practitioner in 1995 working initially in Wales, England and Offaly.

Fergal joined MSD Animal Health in the UK in 1998 and moved to the company’s Irish business in 2001 when he was appointed head of ruminants in 2008.

Finance Director, MSD Ireland

Rachael is Finance Director for Ireland and was appointed to this role in January 2022.  Rachael started her career as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.

A member of MSD Ireland’s leadership team, Rachael has worked with MSD since 2010 in a number of positions across the UK and Ireland.
